Texas...continued

After the baptism we went into San Antonio and visited "The Alamo." It just happened to be the anniversary so there were several things going on. I was surprised that the Alamo was right in the middle of town!! It was interesting to me because we study this every year in the history class that I aide in. Enjoy the pics!!!

Mike and I delivered Carter and Taylor at school and were able to see their school and classrooms. That is where we said our good-byes....which made it a lot easier!!! A wonderful time was had by all....only wish it could have been a longer stay. We look forward to visiting Texas again!!

Texas .....Carter's Baptism

We were fortunate to make a trip to Texas the first of March to spend time with our favorite Texas Birds and witness Carter's baptism. We were glad we could share this special day with Carter. Great Gma and Gpa Bird made the trip with us. They were great traveling companions!! We had a delightful time.....just not enough time with the Texas Birds!!

Not a bad sized group, huh?......considering the distance we had to travel!! Amy's parents were also able to share in this special occasion.

The little girls got a hold of my camera and just started to take pictures. They were taking pictures of everything!! What could it hurt??? They are easy to delete, right? Here is a sampling of some of their work.......their mother needs to give them a few lessons!! Note the lovely picture of the pin on the table....?????

To make him look good.....

This beautiful bouquet of flowers was delivered to me at work on Valentine's Day!! I first thought Preston and Chandi had sent them....because they do things like that. When I opened the card, I discovered I was wrong.....they were from my "valentine"!!! I was pleasantly surprised and very flattered!! Later Mike told me he had them delievered at work so the ladies in the office would think he was sensitive!!! And yes, he can be!!! It isn't the first time he has sent me flowers. He also gave me a corsage to wear to church.....I guess he wanted to impress the ward members too!!!!

Guess who???

This was one of my favorite gifts this past Christmas!! Heather put it together....pretty clever, huh? Can you tell who is who? Top row...Carter, Taylor, Elli, Cameron; bottom row...Madalyn, Cassidy, Hannah and Isaac, the eight cutest grandkids in the world!! Thanks Heather....I'm very proud to display them. Even had a few comments as it is about the first thing you see when you step into the house. Would love to add to the collection......hint, hint, hint!!

Snow....snow and more snow!!

We have had PLENTY of snow this past winter....so I just had to take advantage of the perfect snow to build a snowman. Hannah wasn't all that excited to help me out, but we (Jess and myself) made her play in the snow with gma. So we made these three snowmen....Tyson, Jess and Hannah. Do you see any resemblance????
